E-Savage Lower Skid Plate by GCM Racing.

The popular EXarm suspension has been a great addition to many E-Savage trucks. In our case, we drove it all the harder and found out that the extra arm length had stretched out the lower skidplate that came on the truck. We are not alone, and many others have had the same problem. Here's the answer.
We can not guarantee that you will not bend this new skidplate, but we have made it stronger. We eliminated 2 holes in the center of the narrow area and made the new plates of thicker, stronger material to keep them straight under stress. Your factory bumpers and plastic skidplates will still fit just fine.
We have removed the tab hole for the center pin brace, a known weak area of the stock plate. By doing this we require you to remove the tab on your pin brace, by grinding it off, like we did, or using a dremel or file to remove it. This only took a couple of seconds on a grinder and has no effect on the strength of the pin brace at all, as it is already held in by a block and 2 screws in the diff casing.
With a little wrenching, you will be done your switch in just a matter of minutes and have a stronger front and rear plate to protect you from the unexpected twist.
