GCM Racing 'ReAction' E-Savage Differential upgrade.
It won't be long until your E-Savage Monster Truck gets some option parts, and with the available CVD axle upgrades, the stock diff will be the next to feel the pinch. At GCM we know E-Savage, and have your differential needs covered.
GCM answered the problem of broken stock spider gears with the introduction of the TWINV2 Diff Conversion and have had great and long lasting success with the TwinV2. Now for the budget minded with a racer's heart, we introduce the ReAction Diff upgrade. Using the best of the best from the TwinV2, we developed this whole new diff case to use all the stock parts from the E-Savage Diff, but give it the most strength and life it can possibly have.

Each Kit contains a new planet shaft, one anodized aluminum diff case, a shim for the output shaft on the case side, and (4) 2-56 machine screws for mounting. All your stock diff parts will be re-used, and after replacing the planet shaft, the shim, and the new case, you are left with a solid diff that will keep all your internals in the right place, even under severe power from today's brushless systems. We are recommending using heavy grease, Ofna Difflock 100,000 weight silicone oil or higher, or our favorite, white automotive grease to your new diff assembly.
Here are some pictures of the assembled internals. We used the captive gear design from the TwinV2 on this new ReAction case, and it's guaranteed to stay in the proper location under the most severe stress. This also eliminates the stress on the screws for a long lasting upgrade and minimum maintenance.

The new ReAction Diff case will be factory labelled and is easily distinguished from the TwinV2 case by the large flat sides on the case.

All ReAction diffs are shipped in Blue anodize finish. Silver parts were used for picture clarity.

Summary:
In high power applications and heavy duty use the plastic case and stock planet gears are a weak link in the drivetrain. We can't guarantee your diff gears won't break, but we can certainly guarantee that they will stay in the correct location, and run as long as possible with a solid billet machined case, and tight tolerances in assembly. Just as the solid case on the TwinV2 has virtually eliminated the output shaft breakage, the new ReAction diff upgrade will likely be the last time you put a wrench on your E-Savage Diffs.
