The RB2 Chassis Design incorporates all the best of the best from the years of E-Savage chassis designs and components. The Carbon Fiber RB2 manufactured and sold from PRC is simply the cleanest and simplest of the RB chassis line in a well made Quasi-Weave carbon plate form. It's light, strong, and ready for your stock parts, such as E-Savage Radio Box, steering components, center gearbox. This great design also makes room for the popular bolt-on Kyosho battery trays, the new JediMount for RB2 and velcro strap slots you have come to expect from a GCM Custom chassis.

The RB2X Anodized Aluminum chassis set rises to another level with a full 43mm longer extension than the RB2 Carbon Fiber version. A new center rear steel dogbone (for use with our other center dogbone kits)is included. Other new features are 3 new threaded mounting positions for the Kyosho battery trays, and provisions for the stock radio box/servo mount or a new low servo mount and upper steering brace. This RB2X also fits the great JediMount for low motor mounting and, as with all the RB chassis, the rear X-Brace and ESC mount can be installed as usual for some more electronics mounting options.

The JediMount for the RB2 and RB2X is a solid Billet Aluminum mount specifically designed to mount into the RB2 chassis line in the perfect spot. It lines up the motor with the center gearbox when using the stock E-Savage slipper clutch and spur OR the GCM Friction clutch and spurs. In fact, using this mount will make a large range of gearing available to you, from the largest fit being 21/66 gear diameters, all the way down to a 54t spur for the GCM Clutch and even a 14t pinion. There's a range of fitment there from 66/14 to 54/25 and anything in between.

The JediMount for RB2 was designed to hold your motor tight and straight with M3x8 screws, so you don't have any gear mesh slip. It's a solid unit with a micro 18 grams, which is just over half the weight of the stock E-Savage Motor plate. It also acts as a GREAT heatsink for your motor thanks to it's highly machined forward surface and Billet aluminum construction. The JediMount allows a maximum of 50mm motor length in the RB2 Carbon Fibre chassis, and a HUGE 90mm motor length in the RB2X Anodized Aluminum version. Both chassis still allow lots of room for motor wires at the back, and both will hold a 77mm long motor on the stock E-Savage motor mount up top.

We have added a new feature to the RB2X to allow the use of our new upper steering mount brace kit. This simple little kit will replace the steering post bracing that WAS built into the stock E-Savage radio box, and utilizes a solid aluminum cross brace and 4 steel spacers for the top of the steering posts. There is tons of room in there for your steering linkage and it's solid as a rock when installed. The hole for the upper brace is already in the sides of the RB2X, and will have to be added by the user on the RB2 Carbon edition.
