Welcome to the RacerEX.

RacerEX suspension was specifically designed for the GCM RB3 vehicle platform, and designed for track racing, but is FULLY compatible on any HPI E-Savage truck. This all new design gets its roots from the EXarm suspension and makes use of the EXarm width and great CVD kit but sheds more than half the weight! Although EXarm is completely unbreakable, these are breakable, like any plastic arm, and GCM is shipping a spare upper and lower arm just to make sure you don't get stuck out at the track. We have given these arms a very heavy beating and found that they are tough, and reliable and breakages have occurred occasionally under the worst landings from the highest jumps, meaning 7 feet (2.5 meters) up. Designed as a racing arm for track conditions, drivers should have no problems with these at all, and the GCM Racing team is taking them to the No Limit Worlds to prove it.

RacerEX suspension uses a brand new machined Delrin plastic lower and upper arm for a light weight combination of strength and performance. With the same track width as the SS Suspension and the popular EXarm suspension (+35mm), this new combination will prove to be a race-worthy upgrade with winning in mind. When using RacerEX with the bulletproof GCM CVD kit, you will have a wide and low platform ready to take to the track.

Racer EX also uses a new captive shock mount on both sides. This will allow you to sit your shocks INSIDE the lower arm and make a solid connection to get the bumps to the shocks where they belong. There are a wide range of mounting positions to suit your setup. With stock e-savage shocks you can expect to lower your ride by around 10mm, but if you use the new GCM SS (short shock) mount, the ride height returns back to stock. The blue line track runners will love the new RacerEX arms because there is lots of room to mount your aftermarket shocks on there, from 120mm to 150mm long there is a combination that will work for you. The shock mounting area on the arm is just over 8mm wide, and can has more than enough room for almost any shock end to fit inside.

All RacerEX suspension looks like this from the bottom. The arms are surprisingly strong with the engineered stress relief and ultra-lightweight. Infact the upper arm weights only 15grams and the lower arms only 40 grams each.

RacerEX is only available with a full RB3 Pro truck build. We do not recommend RacerEX for trucks with a running weight over 4.4kg. If your truck is running closer to 5kg, use the EXarm Suspension Kit.

All RacerEX suspension arms are heat treated by a boiling process. This greatly strengthens the arms and avoids the snapping plastic problem that is common to machined plastic parts. You can watch a video showing the benefits of this on our gallery video page.
