GCM Racing 'TWIN' 2 Gear Differential.
You surely have seen the rise of Monster Truck and 1/8th scale racing around the world. The need for powerful electric drive systems has never been greater than it is now. And these strong performance systems put a huge stress on the drivelines of today's RC vehicles.
GCM believes the E-savage is a tough and cost effective competitor in the RTR Monster Truck class. The upgrades offered by GCM and others are allowing E-savage owners to compete well in the MT racing classes held in many areas. Combined with several hundred watt brushless motors and new battery technology the need for strong, tuneable, limited slip differentials for the E-savage is here. GCM has answered with the new 2 planet diffs called 'TWIN' for HPI E-Savage and many other HPI vehicles.
Each Kit, updated to the V2 spec, will include 2 new planet gears, a new planet shaft, one anodized aluminum diff case, shims, and 4 2-56 machine screws for mounting.
You will need to supply or re-use your current diff output gears and output shafts as well as your current ring gear and some Diff Grease to complete your new diff. We are recommending using heavy grease, Ofna Difflock 100,000 weight silicone oil or higher, or our favorite, white automotive grease to your new diff assembly.

All TWIN diffs are shipped in red anodize finish. Silver parts were used for picture clarity.
Summary:
In high power applications and heavy duty use the plastic case HPI 2 planet diffs are a weak link in the drivetrain. With these hard metal parts you can install a tough and light package that will survive all your abuse. And if the case or the planet gears fail, simply mail them back to GCM and we will send you replacements at no charge.
Warranty on ASSEMBLED diffs are limited to the Diff Cup, planet gears and planet shaft. We do not warranty the HPI parts installed in the assembled diff. We do not warranty Diffs used on vehicles using over 20 volts electric supply.
